Red Lion Hotel Hartford

Ideal location for a quick visit to catch a show at a local theater where a friend, who's an actor, was performing. It's close to downtown spots and also near the XFinity Theater for concerts. 🎭

The staff is very friendly and breakfast is served in a beautifully covered room as a buffet, very appealing and delicious. Value for money good. Beds were good and everything was very clean. You can park directly at the hotel. Nice places within walking distance.

The hotel is located in the middle of several city highways and directly at the stadium. Very loud!

Relatively inexpensive hotel. The service is reduced, but I had everything I needed. Cleanliness OK.

The location was marvelous and absolutely perfect, adjacent to the Comcast Center, Hartford for a special occasion. The room itself was reasonably spacious and had exceptionally good views of downtown. The daily service was friendly.

the carpet in my room had lots of stains on the floor and it was very small. Also, if i was aware that i had to pay an extra $17.00 a day for parking, we would have NEVER picked to stay there. You really should inform your customers of that.

Breakfast, which was not included in the price, was not at the same level as the rest of the hotels we visited. Parking was paid.

This place offers a perfect stay with clean rooms and stunning downtown views, featuring amenities like central heating, a private safe, and a flat-screen TV.

My only real dislike was with parking. $17 a night to stay in the hotel parking garage and there isn't just a regular free lot.

The staff was very efficient and extremely helpful. The room was well-appointed and well-furnished. The beds were comfortable. The views were stunningly beautiful.

Parking was very expensive $17/day Breakfast was very expensive $12.95 per person (child or adult), for the price of the room I would have expected that a continental breakfast would be provided. Hotel entrance was very nice however the rooms and the hallways were rather run down. Stains on the carpet in our room and in the hallways. Pealing pain in some of the hallways. Our bathroom was adequate but again somewhat run down, cracked tiles and stains in bathtub/shower area . A/C unit was very loud and did not seem to cool the room well. Pool area was also lack luster - no towels available poolside.

The view was beautiful even with the construction. Staff was very friendly and the concierge was great!

Great location close to a historic church, friendly staff, bright room with a highway view and fridge provided upon departure.

Needs to have a mini fridge and a microwave in the rooms.

1. Parking pass had to be replaced, did not work, annoying after being out and just wanting to get to your room 2. Ironing board was broken 3. Very small pillows for a king size bed 4. Came back to room after being out, toilet had overflowed, told we have to "jiggle handle" 5. TV did not work, but was fixed
